Question: What in the WORLD is the point of "There Will Be Blood!?"!?
I just finished watching "There Will Be Blood!." I was awake for every moment, didn't miss a thing!. I know it's been nominated and received various prestigious awards, including at least one Oscar!. What the HELL is the point of the movie!?! I kept asking myself "What!?!" throughout the film, and my fellow movie watchers kept telling me, "Just wait, it'll come to you, just watch the movie, etc!.,!.!." Nope!. No plot was formed!. I've watched the whole thing, understand what happened!. Someone please tell me why this is such a critically acclaimed movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Ok from what i gathered on Wiki, critics really liked it because of its subtlety on being what America is!.!.!. living the American Dream how it drives people crazy to be greedy, but it's shown in a way that is unique, subtle, slow but has a big impact on the viewer in the end because it required reflection on yourself in order to fully understand it's message!.
But in the end, it was simply well made, the pace of the movie, the grandeur of it all, the direction, the acting, and the overall message of how the American Dream transcends to different individuals (such as Paul, Daniel, Eli)!. I think thats why young people (such as myself) have a hard time understanding it because we are used to bold statements in movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
