a little slow, but still, a great flick!. both performances in cruise and kidman were phenominal!. kubrick's directing style found him using their marital problems at the time to his films advantage!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
First of all, I love Stanley Kubrick!. I just rewatched Dr Strangelove yesterday as a matter of fact!. He had great vision and was masterful at directing & executing that vision!.
This said, I have seen "Eyes Wide Shut", which was his last film, and its not up on the top of my list of his films!. It is, however,a good film with interesting storyline and characters!. The cinematography is superb!. I love the way Kubrick uses the camera to involve the viewer in the story!. The atmosphere of the film is very sexually charged and, to me, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman seem to overpower the film at times!. I've been curious how it would have turned out without such powerful or seasoned Hollywood players in the two main roles!.
And if you haven't seen any of Kubrick's other films, you should really check them out too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I only watched it years ago cos I thought it would be interesting to watch, then married couple Tom Cruise and his then wife Nicole Kidman act together in a movie!. And came up with one conclusion; Weird!.

Eyes Wide Shut was Kubrick's last film!. It was difficult to understand for the common movie-goer!. The underlying theme of Tom Cruise's character was how intensely jealous he was!. And how stupid his character was!. Watch it again!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
