can someone PLEASE explain the ending for me!? i dont really get it! why did the movie go back to October 2nd!? does it mean Donnie was able to go back in time!?

basically(as i remember it) the whole apearances of Frank caused Donnie to meet the girl i don't remember her name!. when she died he felt heartbroken and decided that he should've died instead!. So he changed it so that either he decided not to go see Frank outside on that first night or Frank decided not to have shown up!. That is sort of like time travel!. you should look up the time travel book on the internet "The Philosophy of Time Travel"!. anyway, everything goes back to normal as if frank never got shot in the eye which is why in the end you see him touch his eye which likely indicates that he somehow remembers him getting shot whether it just be from a nightmare or whatever!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

When I watched it I thought that he chose to go back so that all the bad stuff that happened that he was responsible for wouldn't happen!. Like Gretchens death for example!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
