Question: Do you think the character in movie should be portrayed by people of the same race as the character!?
For example, they are going to make Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun Li, and Kristin Kreuk from Smallville who will play Chun Li Xiang is not even full Chinese!. And not to mention she does not even look like Chinese!. She is only half Chinese!. I seriously doubt she can speak Cantonese in the movie!. Why can't they get a Asian actress that is full Chinese like Ming-Na Wen and can speak Cantonese for the movie!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't understand the problem!. If she was Jewish or Italian or some other nationality then yeah,I would be up in arms too!. But as you say,she's part Chinese so why would that make any less viable as an Asian!? Sounds like racism to meWww@Enter-QA@Com
