No, they are brothers, but the actor who played Eli dropped out at the last minute for another role so the decision was made for Paul Dano to play both of them and to play off the bais that they were identical twins!. Paul Sunday has moved out of the house though, and wants to make a small amount of money by telling him where oil is!. Eli and his brother were apparently very competitive!.
