I love SATC but this film was a crock of what Charlotte did in her trackies!!!
It totally revolved around Carrie!! I love her BUT I love the other girls too and there characters were so insignificant in this rubbish! And don't get me started on how little screen time the important men were given (and I mean Stanford too)!
Why would you bring a new character into this in the form of Louise!?!?!? Carrie has friends that we love already!. If I was a cynical person, which I am, I would say that it was to give SJP as much screen time as possible (well, she did produce it too)!! Carrie has friends already!
It's an ok film but who wants to learn more about a new supporting character when the other girls are sidelined for her (especially Charlotte)!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I may be unpopular but I actually disagree!. I personally think the reason they introduced a new character was to have something new to bring Carrie out of her low self pity and bring herself around!. In real life when people have low periods the way they naturally tend to turn things around is by starting something new and thats what louise brought to carrie!. also if it had been any of the other girls they would have probably read the emails and given in and shown her cos really they all loved big (even if they had their doubts)!. But carrie needed to have time to get over it before she realised her fault to then forgive him!.!.!.the storyline would have made no sense!. The reason it was all about carrie is she was always the main character and when people get married move away etc they have other priorities so they wouldnt all be together all the time!.!.!.but there are loads of things that arent centred around carrie ie the girls relationships with other men!.
I must admit I was dissapointed with the lack of men!.!.!.especially steve as I love him and cried at the scene on the bridge!. But then they would have had to have sacrificed something else so you probably would have had less of the girls as there needed to be a storyline and as carrie was always the lead role!.!.!.it had to be her!

You're right about Carrie being the focus!. I was a little sad it didn't dwell on Samantha's struggle at her relationship and Miranda's problems seemed rushed, but then again it was all packed into one film i guess!.

SJP is a ***** who wanted this crock to center around Carrie!. i banned the movie!. I think SATC jumped the shark by having its central character MARRY! The whole show was about women being independent!. Then she goes off and gets married to a guy who was a complete jerk to her throughout the whole time she pined for him!. Yeah, great message!. Let a guy you sorta like kick you around, emotionally devastate you, but if you pine long enough for him, he might just marry you!.!.!.!. that is after he's humiliated and hurt you some more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
