Old Horror movie late 70's early 80's maybe ..?!

Question: Old Horror movie late 70's early 80's maybe !.!.!?
I am trying to remember 2 horror movies that i seemto have just flash tidbits of memory from as a child!. Im 35 now, and it seems like this was back when i was around 10 or so years old so should be around 1980 ish !.!.
Ok first movie only thing i remember is something like an alien or some creature that had sharp jagged fingers that had some venom or some type of liquid that dripped from the jagged points!.!.!. and i think they stuck them into someones neck!.!. thats all i remember for that one!.!.

second movie
Cant remember if it was just 1 or several astonauts were in outer space, and they flew to close to the sun or something, and it made them mutate or deform into some creature!. Once back to earth the astronauts or astromnaut was this melted looking creature !.!.

Sorry thats all i can picture in my mind, seemed scary as a kid, and all this time has passed and I cant remember what the movies were!.!. Hope someone can remember :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The first one sounds like "Invasion of the Saucer Men" (1957)!. I'm having trouble finding details about it, but I've seen this one several times!. The aliens are small, with large, bulbous heads, rather like the Martians in Tim Burton's film "Mars Attacks!" They have needlelike claws that drip with alcohol, which they inject into their victims!.
Here is a movie trailer on YouTube:

Obviously, they weren't confident in the drama/horror of this low-budget flick, so they gave it a comedic twist!. It managed to be somewhat of a hit and a certifiable cult classic!.

There was a remake in the Sixties, but I've heard it does not have the charms of the Fifties version!.

The second film sounds rather like this icky cult film:
The Incredible Melting Man (1977)
IMDB review: ***GRAPHIC, YUCKY DETAILS AHEAD***
"The Incredible Melting Man" is a fantastically gross, trashy and energetic Z-grade production that every self-respecting camp-horror freak simply has to see for him/herself! The ideal way to describe this low-budget '70s gem is like a shameless copy of Hammer's "The Quatermass Experiment"~only a thousand times filthier! Astronaut Steve West is the only survivor of a disastrous space-mission but turns out to be the carrier of a horrible disease that makes him radioactive and causes him to melt! In shock after seeing his face in the mirror (can you blame him!?), Steve busts out of the hospital, leaving a trail of sticky pus and fallen off body parts behind!. Doctor Ted Nelson has to find him urgently, as the disease also set Steve up with an insatiable appetite for human flesh!. The premise may sound utterly stupid, but this flick is enormously entertaining and contains great makeup effects from the hand of Rick Baker!. The melting dude's face looks like a rotting pizza, and his heavy breathing makes him sound like Darth Vader! Another big advantage is that William Sachs' screenplay doesn't waste any time on tedious scientific explanations or emotional speeches!. The repulsiveness starts right away and lasts until the very last moment of the film!. Just enjoy this silly horror gem and try to switch off your brain activity as much as you can because, if you start contemplating about the many stupidities in the script, you'll miss out on all the campy fun!

!.!.!.the first one is more than a bit vague, and might apply to several movies (!.!.!."A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors" comes to mind, first hand, though the target was the arms, not the neck), and the second description is definitely 1977's "The Incredible Melting Man" (!.!.!.this one's been on my DVD 'want' list, forever), which is reportedly a remake of both 1959's "The Hideous Sun Demon, and the same year's "First Man Into Space"!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do agree with all my two other Movieloyalists and Iam very happy to meet them all!.

By the way the film titles you are looking for, could be EQUINOX 1970 or The Hideous Sun Demon 1959 (which I have been looking for many years, but I couldn′t find it on DVD)Www@Enter-QA@Com
