Question: Does anyone else think a majority of American films are all the same now!?
America has more money for the film buisness then any other country and yet the basic storylines are always the same, One person fights against an infinite of bad guys, wins and finds his true love along the way!. plus they cannot pull off a real punch, Kidulthood and Football Factory could and they were'nt half as expensive as American ones!. also I have noticed cars, trucks and even a fire engine flying through the air alot recently!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are just a few good filmmakers and actors who still practice film as an art in the big studios!. The movies you have to watch out for are the big budget action, comedy, or fantasy films that set out to be blockbusters and appeal to as wide a demographic as possible (which makes for a film with generic plotline, run-of-the-mill cinamatography, generic everything!.) good writers are also hard to find!.
It's not like there are no movies in the USA that don't have good stories, acting, music, camera techniques, and dialogue; it's that there are just so many other bad movies, and as long as the bad ones make more money they'll keep on making them!.
BUT WAIT! there are ways to fight it!. Use the internet and other people's reccomendations to find good movies, and refuse to pay for the junk out there! If you use your money and word of mouth to promote the work of the real artists, they can stay in business and continue making films America can be proud of!.
Try indies!. Saints and Soldiers is a less than $ 1 million movie that's better than saving private ryan or pearl harbor!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I kinda agree with this, except I do think there are different movies there just not recognized!. I was trying to rent a scary movie the other day and I realized that all the scary movies that have come out in the last few years are the same, they all have a huge amount of Zombies and a few people who are alive!. How many zombie movies can they make!. also how many bridsmaid movies can you make, have you noticed that patrick demsey (from greys anatomy) and catherin Heigle(also from greys) both are in movies where they play brides maides that are in love with the person getting married!.
