Was any one else dissapointed by Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Crystal Skul!

Question: Was any one else dissapointed by Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Crystal Skull!?
There was, until now, only one film I could not stand (that being Panic Room)!.
Anyway, I found the plot pretty pathetic!. All of the actors were good, or at least I thought they were, especially Cate Blanchett!. But then, from a promising beginning it became abismal!.
*spoiler coming up*
The ending - why the hell did they put a spaceship in!?! It was pathetic!. And then, when they are looking down into the whirlwind/spaceship, they are stood with rocks being blown around in a whirlwind around their heads!. Funnily enough, however, their hair did not move at all!. Stayed in perfect place!.

Was anyone else dissapointed!? What parts with!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sorry, but most of these answers are far too mild!! This film was absolutely abysmal! The most dissapointing movie experience I have had since Spiderman started dancing and playing the piano!.
I didn't think Lucas could make a mess worse than Phantom Menace but somehow, he succeeded - and Spielberg has really gone down in my estimation!.
Everyone is really trying to forgive this movie at the moment (probably due to pure shock and disbelief at it's terrible script & acting) but we have to be honest and agree it is a load of dingo's ballbags!.
Let's look at the evidence - gophers! fridges & nuclear explosions! CGI monkeys and Shia LeBouf doing tarzan impression! Indy does not solve problems or use his wits, just punch, punch!! Boring!!!
There is no real sense of danger or excitement, just scene after scene of contrived run & chase boredom - with an unconvincing, sometimes magnetic, sometimes not ugly skull!.
I want my money back!!! Lucas and Spielberg should go and sit in the corner!! They have made Pirates of The Caribbean 4 instead of Indiana Jones 4!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i wouldnt say dissapointed just it was abit silly in parts like the bit with the fridge and the gofer animal thingis and when she drove off that cliff and landed in the tree haha, also i thought it took a while to get going there should have been more adventure, got straight into it, i just watched national treasure 2 and enjoyed that more i have to say!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was disappointed with the whilrwind scene too it was exactly like The Mummy returns at the end when the oasis shrinks back up to a desert!. also, I hated the aliens! It was almost like Stephen Spielburg wanted to do a sequel of ET!. The killer ants were kinda cool, but when they landed in a tree I wasn't surprised!. All in all I didn't get what I paid for!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Really disappointed!. Way too much CGI!. The monkeys and the ants swarms were badly done!. Marion wasn't her feisty self!. She was just a grinning school girl!. The plot sucked!. There was no real threat from anyone!. And resorting to aliens was just lame as a plot device!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm neutral, most of it was pretty good, even if it was a bit far-fetched, I liked the actions scences and stuff!. Unfortunately, the ending was LAMEWww@Enter-QA@Com

Hell yes! I was expecting so much more from Speilberg and Lucas!. It wasn't a bad movie, but it could have been better!. You never got the feeling that all was lost like you did in the first three!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

the aliens!. they should have not gone down the sci fi highway they should have kept it like what they have with artifacts, and biblical thingsWww@Enter-QA@Com

Extremely disappointed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

not as good as originals but i thought it was quite good!.
then again i do like scifiWww@Enter-QA@Com

Did you seriously have high hopes for a sequel 20 yrs later!?!?!? C'mon now!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
