Question: How come so many mafia gangster films have someone called vince or vinny in the film!?
Answers:
Vincent, Anthony, Nicholas, and Peter are all big names in Italian families!. In fact, they are big names for all Catholic families in one form or another (such as Vicente, Antonio, Nikolas, and Pedro in Spanish)!.

So the movies and books on the Mafia portray that with their nicknames--like Vince or Vinny, Tony, Nicky, and Pete or Petey!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Vinny is a nickname from Vince!.!.!.!.at least how I see it!. Though I am sure someone out there is named Vinny!.

Anyways, I think its an Italian name so it would explain why characters in movies and TV shows (like the Sopranos) have that name!. But it all depends what kind of Mafia and gang is being portrayed!. Obviously if the Irish Mafia is being portrayed no one is going to be having the name Vinny!.

I hope I explained that well enough!.!.!.!.lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because the sound of the name is funny, and is usually used for the lowly foot soldiersWww@Enter-QA@Com

guess cause mafia is related to Italians, and the name Vince or Vinny is Italian!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

All!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
