Yes there were!. "Tomas's mom killed all of them, she killed all the children for getting her son Tomas killed when they made fun of him and got him drowned in the cave!." You were probably too distracted by the subtitles to even understand the movie!. Thank God im bilingual and i understand spanish, even if it's spaniard!. I understood the movie just fine and thought it was awsome!.
The mom of the adopted boy, who is the main character in the movie killed herself AT THE END! That way she could be with her son who she sort of accidently killed by getting him stuck in that secret room!. So she killed herself and became the teacher she always wanted to be, and was back with her son who she loved more than anything!. What the heck dont you get!?!?!?!!!! WATCH IT AGAIN!.

Yep, it was all her imagination!. After she kills herself, she was still imagining ghost children when she joined them and her son!.

At first when we watched the movie!.!. we thought that Tomas hid Simon as revenge for Them coming in and messing up their home!.
As Laura (Simon's mom) realizes that the ghost are leaving her clues!.!. they reveal themselves to her!. She figures out that they were murdered!. In the beginning of the movie, one of the Orphanage ladies says quietly that the kids are really going to miss Laura since she was adopted!.
Since people can't see what they refuse to believe only she could see the ghost, well her and that medium lady!. The kids playing with her !.!. end up showing her where Simon had died!. But she swore he was still alive!.!. so when she tried her hardest to put things out of her head!.!. to refuse to believe there are ghost!.!. Simon disappears which makes it clear to everyone he was a ghost and then she finds his body to confirm it!.
At the end!.!. she couldn't live wit the idea, that it was her who caused her sons death and she kills herself too!. She is now a ghost reunited with her son and her little friends she left behind!. Now she can take care of them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
