Jodelle Ferland has starred in some rather dark films - including a very alice in wonderlandish movie (with a gloomy and sinister twist) called Tideland (adapted from the book by Mitch Cullen)!. She's a great actress and I think she'd fit the role very nicely!.

If the movie is dark and spooky I would like Christina Ricci for that!. She also worked in Sleepy Hollow!. She is a great actress!.
If the movie is another "Chocolate Factory" kind of movie then I wont bother to see it!. Burton is great for spooky films but I don't like him when he try to play "sweet"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
