Oh, I'm something of an expert on this one! My very favourites:

The funny/scary (my favourite kind and most appropriate for a sleepover) they are truly terrifying at moments, but have great humour mixed in!.

The Evil Dead (my favourite horror movie)
The Frighteners (my favourite movie)
Evil Dead 2
Deep Blue Sea
An American Werewolf in London
Re-Animator
Tremors
Slither

The Truly Horrific:
Hellraiser
The Changeling
Jacob's Ladder
The Exorcist
Audition
Saw
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Whatever you do, DO NOT watch a remake! They are pathetic for the most part and I've never seen one that is good! Avoid them, Horror movies are only scary the first time around!.

I feel I must include a warning, some of these movies are REALLY bad in parts!. I watched them all between the ages of 13-17 but I don't recommend it for everyone!. There is some seriously twisted stuff in these films even the Horror-comedies, I recommend you do some research before watching them to see if they're appropriate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
