have the ladies (and perhaps a few men) noticed that when a movie with a huge female following comes out (for example, sex and the city) that men attack it and get all mad about it!? i have been reading posts men have made about it where they are putting it down!. they haven't even seen the movie!. movies for men are always out in abundant supply!. they act threatened when we get a movie!. why is that!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Men are whiners! When action movies or lame "bikini comedies" come out women don't get all upset about it!. If the movie's not for you, male or female, then just don't go see it and don't trash it if you haven't seen it! With Sex and the City I think more men than usual are going to complain because they erroneously think the whole series was about man bashing!. They didn't bash all men, just the bad ones (that means you Berger with your break up post-it!) and like many single girls, the SATC girls came across a LOT of bad ones!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well you just stereotyped us thank you!. Actually I like a lot of female casted and centered movies ie steel magnolias, 9-5, fried green tomatoes!. Sex and the City is attacked because it degrades a womans intellect to animal behavior and paints people as objects to be had (meat market mentality)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I was not a fan of the Sex and the City series!.!.!. I hated it in fact!. My friends decided that on Friday they wanted to go see that movie, and well I thought "Why!? It's going to be stupid!. I might just walk out!" but I decided to stay and watch it with them!.
The movie is soooo much better then the series! I loved the movie!.!. :)

It's not that I don't think that women should have their movies!. I think it's fine that woment want to go see this movie!. It's just my opinion that I would rather have my nuts stretched over my head than see two seconds of this movie!. Big difference!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Maybe a part of it is that a lot of ladies will still try and get their guys to go see the movie even if they don't want to, whereas most guys would just go by themselves to see an action movie if their lady didn't want to!. I don't think all women do that, but some do!. Maybe that's part of it!. Maybe another part is that some movies, not realy SATC, but some chick flicks are really anti-male!. Watch a couple of lifetime movies and you'll see what I'm talking about!. They are all about women getting raped or beat or cheated on or in some other way taken advantage of!. I watch those movies and find myself getting angry at men and I'm no where near feminist!. Maybe movies like that give guys the impression that chick flicks are all about hating men!. Just a couple of thoughts - I don't mean for any of it to be stereotyping one way or the other!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
