When these movie producers use the term "inspired by true events" all they have to have is one tiny part that is based on something that happened!.
What i have found out is that the "Hoyt" family comes from texas Chainsaw Massacre and Texas Chainsaw Massacre was inspired by a real man named Ed Gein, Gein was also the inspiration for the movie PsychoWww@Enter-QA@Com
