Are movie rentals becoming more obsolete?!
Question: Are movie rentals becoming more obsolete!?
Answers:
I'd have to agree the concept is obsolete!.!.
I think the main reason is advances in technology!. I remember when a VHS was $90!.00 + toooo expensive so rentals made a lot of sense who could afford to own such technology!?!?!!! Even if you could it was nice to try it before you made such an investment!.
I remember how wonderful it was to go to blockbuster and rent a video !.!.!.!.but I also remember the headache of bringing it back to the store and all the late fees, heaven forbid if you lost the video!
Really makes you thankful that technology has come so far the availability of product far out weighs the demand!.
The prices have dropped so much even a new release won't cost you more than $19!.99 and not to mention how fast movies are released and then before you know it they are in the 2 for $9!.99 bin at walmart!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think movie rentals are becoming obsolete completely, although they are definitely in competition with downloads!.
I think that movie rental Stores are becoming obsolete and may be phased out soon!. A lot of people are opting for Netflix, or just buying DVDs outright, as they're about $15, when renting costs over $5!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Movie Rentals are always going to be around!. I think they are moving towards digital downloads though!. Who wants to drive to a Rental Store just to find out that the movie they want is not there, and if it is there deal with late fee's!. It's also competing with illegal downloads just like music is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Have you been to a video store lately!? Not only are there still numerous Blockbusters and Hollywoood Videos in my neighborhood but the one mom and pop store near me is not only always filled up with people, but the new releases are always rented!. So the answer is no!.
Yes, the people here who illegally download movies will say yes, but then again, these are people who do not go to video stores and have no idea!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

for many people they don't rent movies they just watch them on the internet or download a torrent and put it on DVD!. there are still a few people that rent movies but i would say game renting is the way to go, from a business perspective, since they probably get more rentals this way!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
No way!! I rent movies all the time! It's worth it!. I know u could cheaply download them and watch them from the internet or burn them onto a CD with limewire, but I don't want to pollute this mess of a house up anymore with more clutter!. I don't mind renting!.
Besides, who wants to sit at a computer watching a movie when u can lay on your couch with a big ol bowl of popcorn!?!?!?
Sorry, guess I'm old skool!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
