The other answerers have some great advice, so listen to what they have said!. =)

But in addition to what they have told you!.!.!.

Most movie companies require that applying voice actors have prior experience in acting!. It's rare for a person to just be able to jump right into voice acting!. Take acting and drama classes, and participate in a lot of plays!.

Remember, a voice actor is still an actor, and in some ways it can be more difficult than acting on-screen!. You have to be able to express emotions and messages with only your voice, and it isn't as easy as just talking into a microphone or having the ability to speak in cute/weird/funny voices!.

If you truly have a voice for it, and if you really think that it's something you want to do, then go for it! But remember, you need more than just a voice-- you have to be able to use it to act, and that (in many cases) requires learning how to do so!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Self promotion is a good start!. Do your own voice over for videos on sites like YouTube or start a regular podcast, post them with keyword-optimized ttiles and sign them with your intention to become a voice-over actor!.

In the mean time, produce your own demo reel then browse the want ads and job postings (like on Craiglist or reliable job sites) for jobs requiring a voice like yours!.

And of course, send your demo reel to any local talent agency you can find!. But in order to impress them, make sure you're ready - practice on as many short videos as you can!. It'll also provide more sample material to offer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
