Answers:
Two actresses tied vote-for-vote for Best Actress in 1969: Katharine Hepburn for "The Lion in Winter" and newcomer Barbra Streisand for "Funny Girl"!. I vividly recall Barbra looking at the Oscar in her hands and proclaiming, "Hello, gorgeous!"

In 1932, Fredric March and Wallace Beery received Best Actor Oscars for "Dr!. Jekyll & Mr!. Hyde" and "The Champ", respectively!. Wow! I found the count: one vote difference!

From Wikipedia:
There has only been one tie in the history of the Best Actor category, and it wasn't an exact tie!. In 1932, Fredric March received one more vote than Wallace Beery!. Academy rules at that time considered such a close margin to be a tie, so both March and Beery received an Oscar!. However, under the current Academy rules, dual awards are given only for exact ties!.

Other ties for Oscars are:
Best Live Action Short Film for 1995~"Franz Kafka's It's a Wonderful Life" and "Trevor"

Best Documentary for 1950~"A Chance to Live" and "So Much for So Little"

There might be others!. I'll look around some more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Technically yes but I would think it was extremely unlikely!. There are hundreds of people who vote for these films so there would have to be a tie!. Therefore as I said it would be difficult for this to happen with so many people voting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes it has happened several times but not often!. I am pretty sure Katherine Hepburn and Barbara Streisand tied for best actress one yearWww@Enter-QA@Com
