How does RottenTomatoes arrive at its percentage scores for movies?!

Question: How does RottenTomatoes arrive at its percentage scores for movies!?
You know how, on rottentomatoes!.com, you search a movie and it comes scored on the so-called "tomato-meter"!? And then below this meter are excerpts from what various critics from around the country have said about the movie!. Anyway, does anyone know who decides on the final RT score!? Do they take the average of all the opinions submitted by the critics!? Random question I know, but it's bugging me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I'm quite sure it's based on the average rating of anyone who rates it!. Rottentomatoes gives very low scores compared to other sites since you can only say "good" or "bad"!. A rating of 50% means 50% of people said it was good, and the other 50 said it was bad!.

A regular site would allow for, say, star ratings, and that leads to higher average scores for movies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
