!.!.!.although I very much enjoyed the American import version, as this was the version, which I grew up with, over the years, I am much more drawn to the original Japanese cut of the film; it is much more grim, horrific and intensely dramatic, than the reedited American import, which vied for a much greater level of campiness, due to the seemingly and cleverly seamless, but ultimately ludicrous insertion of the Raymond Burr footage, which was obviously perpetrated and established for an assumingly much more appreciative American audience, who have already amassed to the theaters, to witness similar 'flavor of the month' cinematic and monstrous creatures of the time, like "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" and "It Came from Beneath the Sea"!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
