Answers:
No, "The Turning Point" would be great!. Another classic is "The Red Shoes" (1948), which is an oldie but a goodie about a ballerina and magic shoes!. You might also enjoy "White Nights" (1985), with Barishnikov and Gregory Hines!. And there's always "That's Dancing!", a compilation of great dance scenes from 50 years worth of movies!.

Some later ones you might also like is "Flashdance" a 1983 movie about an aspiring dancer who works as a welder (!)!. And the movie version of "A Chorus Line" is pretty weak compared to the Broadway play, but it's good!. Don't forget "Dirty Dancing" , "Singing in the Rain", "Saturday Night Fever" (avoid the sequel), and "Save the Last Dance"!. One of my personal favorites is "All That Jazz" -- the dancing is great, but the storyline is pretty depressing, probably not a good choice for a birthday party, but if you love dancing, check it out some day if you have a couple of hours!.

A 2007 British TV movie "Ballet Shoes", starts Harry Potter star Emma Watson!.

Happy Birthday!Www@Enter-QA@Com
