What's your favourite, and least favourite movie - by John Hughes?!

Question: What's your favourite, and least favourite movie - by John Hughes!?
Answers:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off = best movie of his!.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles is amazing as well though!. So is Weird Science!.!.!.!.so my least favorite would probably come down to National Lampoon's Vacation IF I had to choose!. There all just too good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My favorite is probably Planes, Trains and Automobiles (Hughes wrote it, directed it and produced it; it is one of the funniest movies ever); Sixteen Candles is tied for first as well

My least favorite!? The Breakfast Club!. Don't get me wrong!.!.!. I've seen it at least four times, and i enjoyed it, but it's totally over-rated and I think it's cheesy; teens don't really act like those teens do-- even teens from the eighties!! I'm not saying that the story itself is implausible, but it is soooo obvious that an adult wrote that dialogue, trying to sound "hip" and, well, like a teenager!. I just saw right through that movie (that it was made by adults who were trying to make the movie feel "real" and "natural"-- but it's just not!. The stereotypes are real, and the basic story line was plausible!. It's the details that makes The Breakfast Club not good, in my opinion!. It's a bunch of adults who made it and tried too hard-- and it shows!.

One more thing: notice I put Sixteen Candles as one of my top Hughes' faves!. That movie did not feel contrived and written by adults; it felt fresh and fun and the dialogue sounded like teens wrote it!. That is just my way of comparing it to The Breakfast Club, and what that movie COULD have been--- better!.

also, there are plenty of other Hughes movies that sucked: like Dennis the Menace, Beethoven's 3rd, Home Alone: Lost in NY!.!.!.!. but those aren't the titles that normally come to mind when one thinks of a "John Hughes movie"!. Hughes is remembered for his obsession with Molly Ringwald and the string of teen movies he did during the eighties!. So, when I picked my fave and my least fave-- I focused on what Hughes is best known for!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sixteen Candles!. It has the best one liners and characters and is a teenage classic (one of my top all time favorites)!.
