The two big Oscar winners of 2007, There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men!.
NCFOM's first two acts were exciting and interesting!. But then they got down to the final half-hour or so and things slowed down, until the movie came to a complete abrupt stop!. Seriously, Tommy Lee Jones talks about a dream, and then!.!.!.um, the producers can't think of anything else to do, so let's just cut to black!! Real Oscar-worthy!.!.!.
There Will Be Blood was even worse!. It never picked up, the first twenty minutes had NO TALKING AT ALL, and after wasting two and a half hours of your life, the movie gives you the biggest WTF ever!. Someone dies (its not as exciting as you may think) and then Daniel Day-Lewis says, "I'm finished!" and cut to black!. Way to end a crappy movie!.
The real best picture of the year was Charlie Wilson's War, with Sweeney Todd in a close second, Juno taking the bronze, and Atonement landing in 4th!. That's how things should have gone, but didn't!.

I felt like it was just like reading one of those teen romance novel (I then found out that's exactly what it was!) Just dreadful, I thought it would be a decent period piece, boy was I wrong!
There Will Be Blood was awful also!. But the acting, at least, was top notch!. The story never did pick up, I kept waiting for something good!. The last 5 minutes in the bowling alley was the only part that was worth watching, and even that I can't stretch to interesting!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
