Question: Do you think there will be new Star Wars movies in the future, like episodes 7, 8, 9, etc!?
There's a new animated movie coming out and maybe a TV show in the works!.
Obviously, George Lucas doesn't want to let go of Star Wars completely!.
I think one day he will re-visit some of the old characters in the form of new feature length movies!.

The books for episodes 7,8 and 9 have been out for a long time!. They're about Han and Leia's kids and how Luke re-opened the Jedi Academy!.
George Lucas has said that he has no plans for making new Star Wars movies though!. However, if for some reason he changed his mind, the actors would be the appropriate ages for the characters as they appeared in the books!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

In the original plan there were supposed to be!. There was a small flap at the time of the early movies, because he insisted on long-term contracts with the major actors that they would be available in the future for those later movies!.

I don't know about that!. I guess he could, but he'd need to get completely new people to play the characters!. Mark Hamill (Luke) is quite old and you can barely recognize him!. I guess with Harrison Ford being in Indiana Jones this summer, he still could play the part of Han Solo!.!.!.

I don't think there will be any more live action Star Wars movies!. However, there is the Star Wars "Expanded Universe" books!. Personally, I think these books are better than the movies!. They cover what happened from before Episode I to decades after Episode VI!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
There will be CGI movies base on the The Clone Wars!. But not an eqisode 7, unless Lucas make the Star Wars novels into movies or tv shows!. I know it will not happen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
