In the movie I am Legend, what was up with the dummies!? The weirdest part was when the one with the orange sweatshirt got out into the streets!.!.!.!.How!? Then will smith shot him!. Are the dummies like another form of diseased person or something!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Will Smith's character had been in isolation for several years without any knowledge of any human exsistance other than himself!. As you could imagine you start to lose your mind a little!. His character is no fool!. He realizes this and so attempts to retain a bit of his sanity by socializing and interacting with dummies!. As time goes by; however, he begins to lose his mind due to his sivere state of trauma and stress to the point where he appreciates the dummies and they become so real to him towards the point where they begin to develope personalities to him!. He becomes fond of them (take in mind that he's losing it)!. And so, he cries when he shoots down the dummie he called Fred!. Fred was much a real live person to him!. Fred was placed there by the infected humans to lure Will Smith to the trap they had mimicked and set for him in the middle of the night!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Will had placed the dummies in certain part of the city i guess so he would know which ones were real and which were the diseased people!. It looked like one of the diseased people put on Freds clothes trying to fake Will out, but he knew that dummy shouldnt have been there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
He talked to the dummies because he was starved for human attention!. No one was in the city except for him!. That's what freaked him out when the dummy got moved!. How did it get moved!? The head mutant guy moved it when it was dark outside!. That showed that the mutants were evolving and becoming smarter!. That's why Will Smith was so mad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, someone obviously put Fred there, because Robert Neville (Will Smith), became the victim of an identical trap that he had set to capture a victim!. So maybe, one of them placed the dummy, and the trap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
