I know this is far from complete because a number of TV movies have leapt to cult status, including the two I list: "The Bermuda Depths" and "Don't Go to Sleep"!. also, there are dozens of Hammer/Amicus films that have achieved cult status, including "Horror Express" and "Vampire Circus"!. Many films of Mario Bava and Dario Argento have cult followings but are fairly obscure to mainstream movie fans!. Then, there are the Blaxploitation movies that are experiencing a resurgence of interest although they've had a following since the Seventies!.

Again, I had difficulty knowing where to start and definitely where to stop!

EDIT: Have I misunderstood what you mean by cult films!? Generally, they're not mainstream movies, but I'm seeing many well-known films listed!. Perhaps I went about this the wrong way; I listed films that sometimes weren't very successful and/or haven't been aired during the past three decades!. Now, thanks to TCM and DVDs, more people are aware of them!. I didn't list box-office movies!.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!.!.!.
I'm seeing some great Sixties films listed, including "Dementia 13" (1963)(directed by Francis Ford Coppola!) and "13 Ghosts" (1960)!. Many of those drive-in movies and films by William Castle, Roger Corman and others certainly are cult classics! The Fifties and Sixties are filled with enjoyable ones that often were made on a shoestring budget by future stars of acting and directing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
