Scary movie from early 1970s?!

This movie was probably z-grade!. It must have aired in the 1971 era!. All I remember is that I was under 5 years old and watching part of it with my dad while my mom cleaned the kitchen!. One scene was, as I recall, in a pitch black room and was probably a seance!. A woman sees the head of her dead child float into the room and it had (or somewhere in the scene) was an elephant toy!. I was so horrified I ran in to Mom in the kitchen and couldn't stop crying because I was stricken with a sense of abandonment!. Now roughly 40 years later, the image of that scene sticks with me!. Does anyone know what that was!? I have a feeling it was a TV movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
