Question: Am I the only person who thought that IRON MAN was OVERRATED!?
I thought it was a decent movie with some good acting and ok special effects (maybe too much) and it had a totally brutal ending!. Like the battle scene (should've been main battle scene) lasted 10 minutes and was pretty lame!. Obadiah dies in such a lousy way!. It just was so predictable and they made it so childish with its 14A/PG rating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, it was better than I expected!. I mean the commercials made it seem way worse than how it turned out!. I was expecting a REALLY bad movie!. But it wasn't that bad!.
I wouldn't say it's the best movie ever either!. Yeah!. I thought it was okay!. But I guess it's because the main guy was pretty funny!.
This is kind of like Transformers in a way!. Like the person up there mentions!. Yeah!. Obadiah's death was pretty predictable!. But they had to make it childish because more kids would come watch it!. They only rated it Pg-13 cause of the sexual scenes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I personally loved this movie for that fact that it is one of the rare occurrences when a comic book has become a good movie!. It's really difficult to capture that kind of action and storyline and make it something everyone wants to see!. Look at it this way, which one will your parents go do, pick up a copy of Iron Man #43 off the shelves or pay $6!.50 to see Iron Man the movie!? If your answer is the latter, it's already a success!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I thought the battle scene was a bit childish (flashback to the transformers movie) but I thought it worked with the movie!. Personally, it was the first movie I've seen in a while that I wasn't upset about paying the ticket fee for, but I went in thinking it was going to suck so it could have just been my low expectations that made it seem great!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Main stream comic books are aimed at a younger audience!. Iron Man was not meant to have a R rating as that would have shut a good majority of the audience out!. I think they did a pretty job job of trying appeal to everyone!. It seems that we live in a society that if someone doesn't see a character ripped to shreds then it's "childish"!. It honestly should have had a lot more comedy put into it, and not just for kiddies!. The acting was alright, not horrible but not amazing!. And to me watching it, it went very fast although i was told it was 2 hours it really did not seem like it!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
