What is your favorite french new wave film and why?!

Question: What is your favorite french new wave film and why!?
Answers:
I thought Goddard's "A bout de souffle" to be one of the best because it is the epitome of what the French New Wave was about: hand-held camera, shooting on location, mixing real with fiction, jump cuts and breaking Hollywood's other rules like talking directly at the camera!.
"A bande apart" is also an excellent film by Goddard!.
I also thought Agnes Varda's "Cleo 5-7" was an awesome example as well!. Beautifully shot, it follows a woman's journey in real time as she waits for the results of a medical exam!.
As for Truffaut, I like "Jules and Jim" the best!. Again, my reasons are the same as "Breathless" - these guys were trying to make a point that films don't have to be about the most important things in life!. Nor do they have to be staged and lit perfectly!. I liked how just hanging around with interesting characters and being in on their pranks or jokes was good enough for the director to put on screen!. These films felt more spontaneous and playful!.
