Will there be a venom spinoff movie?!

since the spider-man 3 wasn't as good as i was expecting, because they just threw venom in their!. Spider-man 2 at the end showed, that the villan was going to be hob goblin jr for the 3rd spider man!.!.!. and than they threw in sandman and venom!.!.!. i heard the director didn't even want venom in spider man 3!.!.!. they threw him in their,because marvel wanted him to be in there!.!.!.
