Question: What was so great about "No Country for Old Men"!?
I really wanted to like this movie!. It started out pretty interesting, but then went to crap!. So many people liked this movie, and I don't get it!. The performance of Tommy Lee Jones was incredible, but I don't understand all the kudos to Javier Bardem!. And if someone could explain the end that would be great!. After the movie ended, I just kind of sat there wondering what the point was!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The thing is, this movie is based on a book!. And in the book, the sheriff (Tommy Lee Jones) has a bigger presence!. He has a monologue after almost every chapter!. So, really, he is almost the main character, except in the movie, his part it cut down!. It's all in the title!. Life in the movie goes downhill for the sheriff!. He no longer feels he has a place in this world!. The story of a man who ends up dying over money (and a killer who gets away) is just the physical manifestation of his feelings!. The day of the sheriff who saves the day is over, in his mind!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

OMG!. This movie is soooo better than most people think it is!. Javier Bardem is absolutly amazing!. You never know what is going to happen next!. It is surprise after surprise!. The good thing is that the bed guy doesn't win though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
