Answers:
The scene in Children Of Men where Clive Owen visits his cousin in London's "Green Zone" is a direct reference to the Pink Floyd album "Animals!." The view outside the cousin's penthouse window is set exactly as the "Animals" album cover, complete with the factory and the flying pig!.

There are three distinct eras in Pink Floyd's career!. The first era was only one album, "Piper At the Gates Of Dawn," which included original singer/guitarist Syd Barrett!. Very 60's, psychedelic sound!. Starting with their next album, "Saucerful Of Secrets," the next era included guitarist David Gilmour, several albums, my favorite being "Meddle," and a more experimental sound!. The third era began with their most famous album, "Dark Side Of the Moon!." This album, and all subsequent recordings, feature vocalist/bassist Roger Waters as the primary songwriter!. My favorite of this era is "Animals!."

Some will say Pink Floyd had a fourth era spanning the 80s and early 90s, but at this point Roger Waters was no longer in the band!. I personally think the remaining members should have hung it up!.

Here is a (more or less) complete listing of Pink Floyd's albums up to the point Roger Waters left!. Hope all this helps!.

Piper At the Gates Of Dawn
Saucerful Of Secrets
More
Atom Heart Mother
Ummagumma
Meddle
Dark Side Of the Moon
Wish You Were Here
Animals
The Wall
The Final CutWww@Enter-QA@Com

Haven't seen the movie (now I'll have to), but I've been a huge Floyd fan for years!. I'd have to get you started on The Wall, that's the typical "starter" album to get you hooked!. also check out Dark Side Of The Moon!. And after you become a fan (and you will), listen to the entire album of The Final Cut!. That is probably my favorite album!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
