Question: Saw 4 Explanation!?
Ok so I saw the movie last night!. I understood everything up until the end where the Black detective goes in and therefore fails his mission!. Then the other detective that was supposed to get electricuted walks up to the black detective, leaves and then locks the other detective up!. WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN!!

Actually, Candi is right!. Remember, the timeframe for Saw 4 is the same as that for Saw 3!. Everything you saw that was not during the autopsy was a flashback!. The events of Saw 4 was happening at the same time the events for Saw 3 was occuring!.
This was possible because the detective who was going to be electrocuted is part of Jigsaw's cult!. He was working the test to see if the black detective had the right to live!. As you saw, the black detective failed - pretty much everyone failed!. So as the detective left, he went to the other room and clearly deduced that everyone was dead and the guy left in the room was still alive!.
He locked him in the room presumably to begin the next step of tests for that guy which was starting (the tests) to happen during the investigtion they did in saw 4!.
This next step involving the FBI agent will become part of Saw 5!.

I haven't seen it!. but from what I gather, that detective is in leauge with the jigsaw!. just like the girl was in the second one!. those people make everyone else think that they are a victim as well, but they are actually helping the jigsaw!. or whatever!.
