Question: Please help!.!.!. I can't remember if I dreamt this or if it was actually a scene from a movie!.!.!.!?
In this media driven world of ours, I hope I am not the only including scenes from movies in my dreams!. However in this one instance I cannot figure out what movie, if any, a certain scene that has been playing over and over in my head is from!. If it is indeed a creation of my own subconcious I can use it in my own writing, however if it is from a movie I saw once upon a time, I want to avoid copyright infringment!.
So here goes!.!.!. a basic scene!.
A town of sorts is on a little island in the middle of a lake or some kind of body of water!. Only way to get to the town is by a floating wooden bridge/dock!. The inhabitants of the town are almost like a Robin Hood-esque nature!. They're rebels and outlaws!. They either kidnap somebody or somebody defects to their side!. This is an important somebody and the leading local government is keen on getting them back!. Battle ensues, but the town is very difficult to sack!.
