ok now it makes sense!.!.!.ok so in the epside "seige of the north" Koh tells Aang the art of waterbending is inspired by the moon, with the ancestors of the water tribe observing how it pushed and pulled the tides of the ocean to finally learn how to control water themselves!. koh also tell aang that the moon and the ocean spirits are in trouble becuase zhao's plan is to take out the moon spirit which would destroy the balance, and make the water tribe people defenceless, and that if zhoa's achieves his goal, water tirbe people will not be able to water bend and then fire nation would easily destroy water tribe!Www@Enter-QA@Com
