Question: Sports movie cliches - drinking raw eggs and slow motion running are well known but I need more!?
I'm writing something and need as many movie cliches as possible!. My story is a spin on Seabiscuit but the cliches don't have to be horse racing specific!.

The Sports stars never win easy its always a turn around from losing to winning!.

The Horse is always and i mean always held up to come through by a nose in the last stride!.Its never a front-runner!.
The jockey almost always falls off/ loses stirrups etc!.

My favourite is that the team is losing the game until the hero arrives or his girl friend tells him she loves him or his father comes to the game and then they win in the last seconds!.
The horse misses the start badly but catches up and wins on the post!. I was just watching Racing Stripes and that happened to the zebra (except the jockey fell off)!.

There's always the montage! Every movie where someone is working towards a goal, whether it's a sports movie or not has a montage that shows the passage of time, and that person working towards his/her goal, and coming closer and closer to it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
