Answers:
I love two!. I love Beast from Beauty and the Beast!. He was a prince with his head stuck up his butt and after years of living as an animal he learned to change his ways and Belle just fell for him!. I would too!. I also love Erik (aka the Phantom of the Opera) I mean sure he was obsessive with Christine but he did everything he could for her, taught her how to sing, made sure she got her time in the spot lightWww@Enter-QA@Com

i would definately have to say frankenstein!.!.!.!.!.!.i have either seen/read all stories you mentioned, and i am most saddened by the "monster" in frankenstein!. i think he should have been able to go on with his "life" with his own creation

however, i have also always been a major fan of Phantom of the Opera, partly due to the fact that i love Andrew Loyyd Webber, and its also a heartbreaking story too!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Oooh!.!.!.you REALLY came up with a good one! You get a star! I'll give you that!. But I digress!.!.!.all the examples you cited were classic examples of Man V!. Nature or better known as Beauty and the Beast!. There seems to be an artful nuance to the old monster movies, especially the classics, as opposed to the schlock that comes out now!. I have to admit that Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins did justice to 'Dracula', which is refreshing, butmuch of the garbage seen today is nothing to the timelessness of The Creature of the Black Lagoon, King Kong, the Phantom and others!. Dino De Launtiis (sp) King Kong with Jeff Briges and Dawn Lange was a milestone and the very beginning to a very accomplished make-up man, Rick Baker!. Heck it even happens in Godzilla and the doctor who invents the oxygen depleter does himself in because he sees one fella REALLY loves the girl!.!.!.HIS girl, but he sacrifices himself and takes out the Big Guy himself, despite the fact that ToHo revives him more than certain soap stars in schmaltzy scripts!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
