ETA: Just to mention!.!.!. I thought this was a pretty great movie as far as acting quality goes!.!.!. Jared Leto does a hell of a job playing a heroin addict, and Ellen Burnstyn (the pill addicted old lady that you referred to) was VERY convincing!. While I did really like this movie!.!.!. every time I watch!.!. it leaves me feeling, well!.!.!. dark (for lack of a better word)!. also, I literally cringe and stomach turns when they show the shot of Jared Leto's horribly infected arm from all the heroin injections!.
