Question: Golden Compass : this movie keeps you waiting for something to happen until the very end but nothing ever does

No ending

The only good thing about this movie were the ideas behind it (like the concept of deamons) and the beautiful picture the rest was utterly boring, spoiled talent, could have been an amazing movie but turned out extremely boring and you had a feeling that the characters were all fake and were all pretending
also the dialogues were almost all very stupid : What I mean is they understood the math of things but were all very fake, had no depth to them, FAKE FEELINGS the whole time, I get really irritated when I see fakeness of the sort
anyone else have an opinion !?

Read the book!. The movie cut out the entire ending and major parts of the plot!. The book, however, is one of the best I've ever read (and is actually the first book in a trilogy)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You know, I wasn't planning to watch this movie, I had been told that the book was sort of a manuscript for children to learn how to destroy God!. But when it came out I wanted to see it for myself and get my own opinion!. I enjoyed to the movie but the ending kind of did kill it for me but that's not the end, they just left it very open for the next movie!. It's kind of like Lord of the rings, there were a lot of battles but at the end of the film, there was no definite ending, just an opening for another film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
