No Country for Old Men, amazing but sick ?!

Question: No Country for Old Men, amazing but sick !?
I really enjoyed this movie, it was very intelligent, it makes no sense if you don't put any of your own speculation into it but if you do it's deeply disturbing

What did you think about it !?

I really really liked Kelly Macdonald's character Carla Jean because she was so innocent and smart in her own respect and Josh Brolin's Lewelin, he proved to be a man stubborn but full of honor and dignity that truly would have done anything for his wife, they made the whole story fuller and more interesting

I liked Tommy Lee Jones character as well but in the end I felt bad for him, he seemed lost and to have lost his heart and soul, I felt like he didn't have God in his life anymore which left him without any spirit, was suddenly lost but not in the same way you would say so about a bad man, lost like loosing his identity I think he was very traumatised by Javier Bardem's character, he even said at one point that the reason why he wanted to retire was because he felt overmatchedWww@Enter-QA@Com

It's a very good movie

the people that don't get it or think the movie is terrible, are just short sighted and on this site usually young!.

I don't think you can say "this" is what it all means!.

it's like a song when the musicians wrote they had something in mind and when you heard it, it made you think one thing or the other!.

it's not clearly defined so you have to decide for yourself

something to ponder

>>> WARNING: Here Be Spoilers <<<

Trivia items below here contain information that may give away important plot points!. You may not want to read any further if you've not already seen this title!.

# SPOILER: DIRTRADE(Joel Coen, Ethan Coen): [Stanley Kubrick]: Coen Brothers often reference Stanley Kubrick in their works!. In this movie, Llewelyn Moss is killed in room #114, a number seen repeatedly in Kubrick's films!.

# SPOILER: The three main characters, Moss, Bell, and Chigurh, do not share any screen time together!.

# SPOILER: The only character to talk to all three main characters is Carla Jean ('Kelly Macdonald (I)' )!.

# SPOILER: When Moss is lying hurt on the floor, after crossing the Mexican Border, a mariachi group starts singing to him!. What they say, in English, is: "You wanted to fly without wings, you wanted to touch the sky, you wanted too much wealth, you wanted to play with fire", probably in a reference to the story of the film!.

I like tommy lee cause he had a cool hat and he did it with Pamela!.I liked the killer dude case he had a cool air gun and when it holds it up to your head it goes "POW"!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree with most of what you said, but I dont think Tommy Lee's character lost any heart or soul!. In the end when he's talking about his dream, I think he was telling his wife that he was ready to move on and that his daddy was waiting for him at the end of the tunnel!. He was getting to old for all this chasing badguys around stuff!. It isn't like it was in the old days where you didn't have to carry a gun!. Like the title said, No country for old men!. If your slippin', it's time to head towards the exit door!.

Javier Bardem "Anton Chugr" is the epitomy of evil!. The whole movie in a sense is good vs evil!. Chugr is a demon reincarnated to walk this good earth!. He couldn't be stopped by anyone, even the multi tasking, very intelligent Llewelyn couldn't stop him!. That's why I thought it was very fitting and pretty cool that movie sort of ended with him walking away from the car wreck when he got t-boned!. The bad guy won and walked off into the sunset!. I thought that was the true ending to the movie!. Alot of people got thrown off and didn't like the movie just cause they didn't get the Tommy Lee talking about his dream sequence!. Those people are idiots!. No Country For old Men is an instant classic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
