What is the best way to give director a movie idea?!
Question: What is the best way to give director a movie idea!?
Answers:
If you personally know the film director - you could give him/her your idea!. If you don't know the director - it gets a bit tougher!. You would need to submit it to the director's agent!. You can research the agent online!. www!.imdb!.com is a good site to find that info (if not the agent, you can sometimes find their production company info)!. But be warned!. For legal reasons - most unsolicited material is returned!. ALWAYS - and I mean always (even with a friend), copyright through the library of congress or through the Writer's Guild of America (www!.wga!.org) and register your idea - better a treatment!. Put that registration number on your written treatment!. Too many people see their works on the big screen - even if it's through a friend!. As they say - it is the BUSINESS of show!. Business always comes first!. Plus, once a director or agency sees your copyright or WGA registration # - they know you know the business!. Good luck!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
