Was Donald Sutherland too good for Kidman & Craig in their REMAKE - INVASION 200!

Question: Was Donald Sutherland too good for Kidman & Craig in their REMAKE - INVASION 2007!?
Answers:
Perhaps it's the difference in stories!. At the end of the original film, Kevin McCarthy's character remained human, remember!? He then showed up in the remake, in which he's the man who pounds on the car window, trying to warn people!. Moments later, he is killed!. It's a great cameo!

But, unless the aliens are handled the same way as in the second film, Donald Sutherland couldn't have done a cameo!. I haven't seen the new version, so I don't know if they're faithful to the novel or even the first three films!.

Wait! "Body Snatchers" is the THIRD film in the series!. I don't think Donald Sutherland has a cameo in that, does he!? So, right there, they broke the chain!. If they had done that, Gabrielle Anwar and/or Billy Wirth would have shown up in "Invasion"!.

EWWWW! I hadn't heard that Daniel Craig is in "Invasion"! I guess when it shows up on cable, I'll try to watch it at least once!. I watched "Casino Royale" in chunks because he is so ghastly, and the story is so lame!. Who wants to see James Bond vomiting in a bathroom, too feeble to hook up lifesaving equipment, getting hysterical, screaming, etc!.!?! How shameful! Did they think that stripping him would make us not notice how homely he is!? That will never be a James Bond film to me! Why, he made Roger Moore look brilliant as Bond!Www@Enter-QA@Com

For that matter, why wasn't Kevin Mc Carthy good enough for Sutherland's REMAKE of the ORIGINAL 1950's version!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
