It depend whether you are an artistic, deep thinking type of person or whether you just like the simple, good, mainstream entertainment!. If you are like me, you would like bits of both kinds!.

My favorite movies at the moment is "Babel" and that Swedish masterpiece "As it is in Heaven"!. Then there was "La vie en Rose"!. That was definately the best acting I have seen in my life and the music was classic!. The history-fantasie movie "Pan's Labyrinth" was also a wonderful movie!.
The best animated movie I saw must be "Ratatouille" Awesome stuff!.
