Question: Recommend me a good Asian horror/gore/thriller film please!?
Ok, so I like twisted, clever, torture, revenge, and gore type films!! I like a twisted psychologically mind blowing film more then a horror if you understand me here!. I also have taken a liking to Tartan Asia Extreme films and Takashi Miike films!.
Here are the movies Ive seen so far: Ichi the Killer, Audition, Cinderella, and Old Boy!.

Oh, my dear!.!.!.you are probably going to have problems finding some of these as almost all my Asian films are imports, but here goes!.
The Red Shoes
The Quiet Family--if you can't find this one, It was remade in Japan as Happiness Of The Katakuris, and directed by Takashi Miike!. Both versions are excellent!.

Lady Vengeance and Sympathy For Mr!. Vengeance--since you mentioned Oldboy
Save The Green Planet--Scifi/horror/mystery/comedy!. Just wonderful!.
Uzumaki--unsettling rather than gory, but well worth a look!.
Battle Royale--excellent, but avoid the sequel!.
I never recommend the following without saying up front that these are some of the most disturbing, violent and gory films I've seen!. Since you mentioned Ichi, Audition and Oldboy, go for it!.

wow noone is giving you any good torture movies!.!. aha go watch guinea pig 2 - the flowers of flesh and blood!.!. all it is is a guy who takes this asian girl and drugs her and ties her up to a bed and cuts off her wrists, legs, arms, head, eyes, and intestines and they show all of it!. thats the whole movie sumed up!. some actor found it and called the fbi cuz he thought it was real!. extremly gross and bloody!. very very amazing!!!!!!!! you have to watch itWww@Enter-QA@Com
Ok!. I like you enjoy those kinds of movies!. I don't know what you mean by asian though!?!?!?!? I guess if you don't mind watching subtitles then watch House of Flying Daggers or if you like twisted movies watch Saw or The Decent!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
