Answers:
I liked the movie, I think Ben Stein did a good job interviewing these people, and he asked just the right questions!. He even played "Devil's Advocate" so as not to appear biased!.
I personally am a young-earth creationist, and I have seen the same kind of discrimination in colleges and public schools that Stein exposed here!. You don't "dare" question Darwinism, or you'll be "excommunicated" from the "temples of higher learning"!. How's that for academic freedom!? Even if you are an atheistic evolutionist, you can't even SUGGEST any possible intelligence behind the data you uncover, or you'll be blacklisted!.
Stein even showed an animation sequence that shows how incredibly complex the single cell is - it's like a little factory, and it couldn't possibly have come into existence either by accident or by trial-and-error!. In Darwin's time, he believed that the cell was "simple", but now science shows us this belief is incorrect!. It's far from "simple"!.
And, I'm sorry to say, but Stein correctly made the inference between Darwin's theory and Hitler's "social Darwinism"!. He dedicated "Mein Kampf" to Darwin, for crying out loud!. Darwin himself was an outspoken racist!. Hitler was simply carrying evolution to its natural conclusion - "helping it along", if you will!. You cannot divorce the atrocities of the last century from Darwin!. It is not "irresponsible" to make this connection; people need to know WHY the Jews were killed by the millions!. Hitler was an evolutionist who was heavily swayed by the writings of Karl Marx, also an evolutionist!. Evolution is a dangerous theory that should NOT be taught in our public schools!. Kip Kinkel and his buddies were also evolutionists!. Had they not been taught this, they may have turned out quite differently, and dozens of students would not now be dead!.
Evolution is also not part of science!. It is a secular religion!. It is an INTERPRETATION of the facts, not the fact itself!. For example, two people can look at the Grand Canyon and come away with two different conclusions about how it got there!. The evolutionist would say, "Wow, look what the Colorado River did over miiiillllliioooons of yeeeeaaars!" The creationist would say, "Wow, look what the Flood did in about 1/2 an hour!"
Another example is this: we all know that there are over 250 breeds of dog in the world!. Nobody would dispute that!. Let's call that a "scientific fact"!. Now, to take that information and go a step further and say that this proves that the dog and the cat had a common ancestor, how is that "scientific"!? You have just moved out of the realm of science and into the realm of FAITH!. It takes great FAITH to believe that the dog and the cat had a common ancestor, when science tells us that's impossible!. You can breed dogs until the cows come home, and you will ALWAYS get some kind of dog, 100% of the time, guaranteed!. "Variation within a kind" (breeding fruit flies w/o wings, etc!.) is NOT evolution!. Evolution is "change between kinds" (turning a fruit fly into a ladybug or a horse)!. This has NEVER been observed in nature, and cannot be proven in the lab!. This is exactly why evolution is a religion and "unscientific"!. If it requires imagination to see it happening, then it's not science!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Never understood the Fundamentalists, Creationists, and/or the people behind Intelligent Design!.

How can anyone with even a single brain cell believe that the bible in any way shape of form represents the actual history of the world!?

There are people out there who believe in the literal interpretation of the bible and that the world is only like what, 4000 years old or some such!. That's just retarded!.

And like how there is a Creationist museum that teaches people that humans and dinosaurs actually live together, and that people used the dinos as beasts of burden!. WTF!?

A concept that I thought was ridiculous at age 4 watching the Flintstones cartoons these people believe is what really happened!.

This is the perfect example of how clearly religious people are brainwashed into believing nonsense!.

I mean, c'mon!.!.!. there's a talking snake in the Garden of Eden!. There's this supposed "imaginary friend" i!.e!. God who watches over you!. Jesus supposedly flew bodily up to heaven!.

Jesus was born of a virgin!. Yeah, I'm sure that's what she TOLD people!. But anyone with even a working knowledge of biology knows that somebody was fibbing!.

And what's the deal with Genesis 6:4!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I saw it and liked it but it wasn't really what I was expecting!. I thought that perhaps it would be more about the religious view on creation!. It was more about the actual scientists and their fight to be heard!. There were some really compelling arguments!. Parts of it just made me sad!. There was one guy who just kept saying that life didn't matter and there was no point to living and all this stuff like that!. It was really heartbreaking, but that's what he believed!. They also talked about, and this was really interesting, that there is a difference between Creationism and Intelligent Design!. With Intelligent Design they say that you can not be a Christian and believe in it!. They actually had Intelligent Design scientists who were atheist talking about their science!. It was very interesting!. I would recommend it!. It's not predominately religious or whatever everybody else thinks, it's just views on Intelligent Design!. Very interesting stuff!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I did not see the movie, but thanks for asking!.

If I did see the movie I don't think it would impact my beliefs!. It would take more than 90 minutes of the eye drop salesman droning on to convince me of anything!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've seen it, and it didn't change my mind about Intelligent Design or evolutionary theory!. I!.D!. is nothing more than a myriad of logical fallacies and obvious obfuscations mashed into a quivering lump of unscientific muck!.

I went to the movie by myself!. There were about 8 other people in the theater!. This was on opening day!. It was a box office flop!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
