For Godzilla movie experts: Where did this creature come from??!

Question: For Godzilla movie experts: Where did this creature come from!?!?
I am a most devoted fan of Godzilla movies, and I had thought that I'd seen each and every one of them; however, whenever I watch the late '60's monster mash melee known as Destroy All Monsters, I can identify where each and every monster in this movie came from (!.!.!.including the Toho version of Baragon, who made it's appearance in Frankenstein Conquers The World, and is sometimes mistaken for the Barugon monster in the Daei-produced Gamera movies), but I cannot placed where that dragon/snake-like creature called Manda, originally came from!. Can anyone help me out with this!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
!.!.!.yes, indeed!!! You DID miss a movie in the Toho/Godzilla movie mythos, however, the film only had the creature Manda, and did not have Godzilla!. That film was the 1963 production of "Atragon", and Manda was supposedly some kind of god, which was sent out by the underwater dissidents of the lost civilization of Mu (!.!.!.they thought that the surface-dwelling people on Earth were attempting to invade their secret and forbidden kingdom), against this giant scientifically-created nuclear submarine, with the ability to burrow into the Earth's crust!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Godzilla made his first appearance in the original 1954 film Godzilla!. In the film, as a result of testings of the hydrogen bomb, Godzilla is awakened and mutated!. Throughout the film, Godzilla rampages through Japan and destroys various cities, while scientists try to figure out a solution to kill the monster!.

Manda was a dragon that lived in the sea and was the guardian of Mu, an underwater kingdom !. When the warship Gotengo attacked, Manda fought it and wrapped its body around the ship, trying to crush it!. But Gotengo discharged electricity on Manda and shocked it!. Manda unwrapped itself and tried to swim away!. Gotengo chased after and fired the Freeze Ray and froze Manda!.
