Answers:
Typically there are two versions of movies released, Unrated and rated!. The rated version will be what you see in theatres, the unrated will indeed have more of the stuff which raises a movies rating i!.e!. sex, drugs, violence!.
DVDs aren't toned down, they are generally toned up because with rentals, select people can rent/buy select versions, based on age, whereas at a theatre they show the version that would get the most revenue and because a theatre won't typically show a rated and unrated version of a movie, they go with the toned down version!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
