Slowmo effect???!

Question: Slowmo effect!?!?!?
You know that Matrix effect the slowmo, is that the kind of thing you sometimes get like right before you collide with a car in a car crash!. Like you suddenly see it flash before your eyes the airbag pop and get to see the windshield slowly shatter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Yes!, In the matrix it is called bullet-time!. In real life it does not have a name (that i am aware of) It is because your body releases adrenaline making your reaction time faster so sometimes it appears as if the incident is happening in "slo mo"

i was in a crash a couple of years ago and that happened it was really cool looking back on it nowWww@Enter-QA@Com

I've been through a pretty violent car crash, which probably took all of 4 seconds!. During that time we were rear ended, nearly standing still, but a car going 60 MPH on impact, flew across three lanes of traffic going our way, jumped a median at which point both wheel axles broke and the airbags deployed, crossed three lanes of oncoming traffic and came to rest when the front bumper hit a high curb (both front tires were already blown) on the opposite side of the road!.

During that time, we were rear-ended - the guy driving said "Are you ok!?" I said "I'm fine, I'm fine!." He said, "Good because we aren't done yet" as we hit the median!. Then he said "There go the airbags!."

We were VERY lucky because all three lanes of oncoming traffic had cars flying toward us (it was a 45mph zone) and our airbags had already deployed!. All three cars managed to take evasive action and avoid hitting us!.

But my point is, that four seconds seemed like 30 seconds!. I remember my arms flailing in front of me and watching my wrist get scalded by the gas the air bag was releasing as we were flying into oncoming traffic!. The air bag deploys and releases it's gases in something like 1 second!.

Short answer - it was VERY much like those scenes in the Matrix, now that you mention it! (BTW we walked away with nothing more than minor burns from the airbag!. Car was a Nissan Maxima!. Saved our lives!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
