It was my favorite horror series as a teenager but I suspect in comparison to today's special effects it would seem lame!. However, the story line is still pretty creepy! There was a scene where Freddy Kruger (the killer) killed someone by slicing him from under the bed!. For years, I was creeped out at night and scared! LOL!Www@Enter-QA@Com

nowadays, we consider "good" horror movies to be the ultimate "holy ******* ****! what the **** was that!?!" with all of the really good special effects that look real!.!.!. however, nightmare on elm street and friday the 13th were scary way back when!.!.!. the effects were really good for their time, the suspense was pretty good!.!.!. if you watch the freddy or jason or michael myers movies and accept that they were the scariest **** around in their time, you'll probably appreciate them!.!.!. but they are kinda funny because they have the typical dumbasses going into the dark room or going in the backyard where the noise came from, of course!.!.!. just take them in their context and you'll enjoy themWww@Enter-QA@Com
Never scared me, but that was me because personally, I'd have punched him in his face!. The sequels got increasingly ridiculous!. It's worth watching anyway simply because it's a classic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
