I actually enjoyed it to a certain extent!. I found the film got more interesting the further into madness that Will Smith's character slipped into!. Until a certain point in the film, which I will not disclose cause I definitely do not want to ruin it for you, I was enjoying it!.!.!.then I just got annoyed, and I'll leave it at that :)
If you have ever seen Castaway and are alright with long periods of silence then this movie won't bother you all that much!. That is actually a good comparison because this film is kind of like Castaway in a way, for instance the slow sip into madness and the long periods of silence!. Hadn't really thought of that until now :)
Anyways I think it's a pretty good movie to watch maybe once or twice but thats about it, in my opinion at least :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sure "I am Legend" is a good movie!. Is it a great movie!? No!. If you read the book you will be pretty unhappy with what the movie turned into!. "The book was better" is pretty trite but it was really nothing like the book!.
However the "not seen in theaters" version may be along the storyline that I wanted to see!.
If you like 70's SciFi movies "The Omega Man" with Charleton Heston is another take off on the book and is nothing like what the author intended!.
However it did explore the difference between good and evil as the book originally sought to do!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
